Two days of hands-on powerboat training covering close-quarters manoeuvres, docking, anchoring, man overboard recovery, planing-speed handling and basic navigation.

Build the skills and confidence to operate a personal watercraft safely, including slow-speed control, stopping, manoeuvring, reboarding, towing and high-speed handling.

Our Story

PRACTICAL TRAINING BUILT ON REAL EXPERIENCE

Based at Hermanus New Harbour, Neptune’s Nautical Academy is an RYA-accredited training centre offering RYA Powerboat Level 2, PWC Proficiency and SRC Marine Radio courses.

Led by Chief Instructor Marx Mohr, with more than 18 years of commercial experience on the water, our training combines the official RYA syllabus with practical experience gained in real operating conditions. As part of the Neptune group, our students benefit from training rooted in active marine operations—not only classroom theory.
